Kindermusik Educator ~ Private Piano and Theory Teacher
Jo began formal music lessons at the age of 10 studying piano, keyboard and electronic organ and started teaching at the age
of 15. After leaving school, she completed her Diploma of Music (A.Mus.A.) and teacmed up to open Kids on Keys at Mermaid
Beach in 1989.
Jo has developed a unique teaching style that has proven to be very successful and has put over 100 students through ANZSCA
and AMEB examinations (Classical and Contemporary Popular Music)
She is a very well respected piano player in her own right and works as an accompanist/ repetiteur for a variety of shows
between the Gold Coast and Brisbane.
In 2004, Jo studied to become a licenced Kindermusik educator, and this has become one of her greatest passions, enabling
her to teach children in a group environment from birth to age 7
